Welcome
The
Abbey shooting ground is situated in the heart of Kent just a few miles away
from the county town of Maidstone. Our location is the Kent County Show
Ground on the dual carriageway A249. It is within two miles of junction 7 of
the M20and five miles from Junction 5 of the M2
Our shoot has been running in it presents form for over 17 years, and clay
shooting has taken place here continuously since the early 1960’s.
We pride ourselves on running a good safe traditional clay shoot which
provides competition shooting for all abilities. Normally, we run eight
competitive classes: AA, A, B, C, Novice, Members, Ladies and Juniors.
Ladies and juniors playing half price- this being out way of encouraging
both Ladies and Juniors to take up the sport.
Everyone is welcome to Abbey Shooting. We have a club (entirely optional)
which offers discounts on all activities. Membership is just £20 per year.
We have up to TEN stands on our Sporting layout. Compact Sporting and Try
stand are an integral part of our Sunday program

Our corporate arm is able to provide complete events; Shooting being
